Una familia! Salsa courses with just the perfect combination of expertise, challenge and fun!
The team at Salsa District helped us rediscover salsa - my boyfriend and I were previously in another school and after a couple of courses we left thinking maybe we weren't cut out for it; but after meeting some Salsa District students at a social event (and really liking their enthusiasm, vibe and friendliness), we decided to give it another go. We are so happy we did because there's no looking back now - the teachers are so skilled, not just in salsa dancing/technique but also in TEACHING - not to be under-estimated. Their methods and explanations really work for us and they are able to break complex things down into more digestible pieces of information in a way that has us progressing very quickly. They're also really down to earth and fun. We've just signed up for our third course and we're not sure if we're ever going to stop...? Big shout out especially to Nadya and Wesley for getting us back into the game!
Very nice salsa school, focusing on technique as well as fun. Good teachers. Wesley is also very attentive to the development of individual students and actively thinks along, for example, about which level is appropriate. Very satisfied!
A very friendly and warm atmosphere, the teachers are great both in dancing and in teaching. You can ask anything that comes to your mind and they keep repeating it until you learn. I knew nothing about dancing, was a complete beginner, have now registered for Level 4 and I look forward to every lesson. After each class, I go home with a smile on my face. Thank you, Salsa District!
Such a great place to learn salsa! I just finished the level 1 salsa course and started taking Level 2 salsa and Level 1 bachata. After taking some try out classes at other places, I decided on Salsa District because they made me feel comfortable practicing salsa as a complete beginner!!! Wesley and Nadya are great teachers who are so much fun and give great teachings (how to do steps etc). They are also very patient! It's been such a great way to get some exercise, have fun, and release work stress! Now I like it so much that I take two classes per week! They also invite students to join salsa nights and events at various bars and locations in Amsterdam! Highly recommended!
The best Salsa School in Amsterdam!!! The vibe is wonderful and makes you wanna dance more and more. Great group orchestrated by Wesley that is really skilled and patient in guiding you through from your first steps of salsa to more advanced ones. The location is an historical school that offers several rooms suitable for big groups. I can only recommend to join Salsa District!!!
