Beatriz enchants audiences with danceable Cuban-style jazz. The band is led by pianist Laura Beatriz Argudin Tella, born in Havana, Cuba. Music runs in her blood: Laura is the daughter of Latin jazz legend Rodolfo Argudin ‘Peruchín’ and the great-granddaughter of the iconic pianist Pedro Justiz ‘Peruchín’. Her six-piece band is named after her mother and excels in a blend of old and new styles.
From traditional son montuno and cha-cha-cha to fiery Latin jazz: Beatriz has it all down to a fine art and transforms every venue into a sultry nightclub. The Rotterdam-based band features some of the world’s top musicians. Their first full-length album, the follow-up to the EP, is due out soon Momentos.

After the concert, there will be a Cuban salsa party in our café with fantastic views, where you can dance until the late hours. Salsa Panorama, organised by Salsa District, is now a tradition at the BIMHUIS.
